Hello, I’m Felicia Santiago

First off, I want to give a genuine shout out to anyone taking the time to search for support. I know how overwhelming it can feel to even start looking, but you’re here, and that’s the first (and often hardest) step. Life can be unpredictable, stressful, and downright scary at times. We all come from different paths, and sometimes it’s okay to admit that we can’t take on the world alone.

My name is Felicia Santiago, and I hope to be a support to you by creating a safe space where you can express yourself freely and without judgment. I’m versatile in my approach and draw from a variety of therapeutic methods based on each person’s needs and goals. (Email is my preferred form of contact, and I currently have full Monday availability, evenings and some weekends!)

As your therapist, I understand that everyone faces unique challenges. My role is to listen, learn, and walk beside you as you move toward healing and growth. Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals in crisis, the criminal justice system, substance use recovery, intergenerational trauma healing, mindfulness practice, relationship trauma and repair, and first responder care, among many other areas. Please reach out so we can connect and see how I might best support you. Thank you for taking this brave first step. I’m truly looking forward to meeting you.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy hiking and being outdoors, so throughout my website you may come across photos I’ve taken on my adventures. You might also see a familiar face—my co-therapist Milo (my dog), who often brings warmth and comfort to the space just by being his lovable self.

I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families on a wide range of issues including anxiety, stress, grief, depression, relationships, trauma, criminal-justice-related concerns, life transitions, substance use, and family conflict—to name a few. Together, we’ll explore your past, acknowledge your present, and work toward the future you envision for yourself.

My Approach

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, blending ideas from psychodynamic, attachment-based, humanistic/existential, and Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) therapies. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all healing. Each person’s path is unique, so I draw from multiple perspectives to create a space that fits your story and nurtures your growth.
